On the morning of May 27, the 5th Zhejiang Greenway Walking Competition and the "2023 Hangzhou Greenway Trailwalking Month Activity" was officially launched in Qianjiang Century Park. In the next 3 months, the general public is sincerely invited to go out of their homes, check in the city's unique quality greenways and style model areas, and enjoy the comfort of "people swimming in the painting".
After the launching ceremony, the greenway walking activity officially kicked off. A team of more than 300 people took the lead in starting from Hello Square and walking 5 kilometers back and forth along the greenway of Yanjiang Park in Qianjiang Century City.
"I have participated in the walking competition for four consecutive years, and this year I signed up as soon as I saw the news. Gongshu Division
Nearly 200 trailwalkers in Gongshu District started from Minxing Grand Stage Square, along the renovated and upgraded Hangzhou Yundao (Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal Greenway), passed Qingsha Park and Beixinguan, passed through Daguan Bridge to the west bank of the canal, and then returned to the Canal Cultural Square along Xiaohezhi Street, Xiaohe Park, Qiaoxi Historical and Cultural District, and Gongchen Bridge.
This is the most historical heritage, the most cultural charm, the essence of carrying the most style, the old stone trail, the quaint streets, houses, river ports, all precipitate the unique fireworks and literary fan, and the garden landscape along the greenway carefully created according to local conditions. While exercising and sharing the Asian Games, the trailwalkers also immersed themselves in the long-standing canal culture of Gongshu District, and learned about the ancient appearance of the canal, felt the spirit of the canal, and enjoyed the future of the canal in the details carved by ingenuity.
Yuhang Division
The launching ceremony of the Yuhang Division was held in Hangzhou Yuhang Europe and America Financial City Park. "The construction of the Greenway Ring Road project of the Future Science and Technology City near the European and American Financial City is particularly good, breathing freely in the green shade and opening our legs, we can not only enjoy the fun of walking, but also enjoy the scenery along the way, and take in the beautiful scenery all the way, the poetic scenery at the door of the house and the beautiful life of the moment are contrasted, and we feel that the body and mind are injected with incomparably abundant energy. Mr. Liu, a walking enthusiast, said.
In the Linping competition area, more than 120 runners set off from the east square of Linping Park, walked all the way through the pine waves, rain gardens, revolving greenways and other scenic spots, appreciated the charm and passion of sports in the walking, and felt the intimacy and tranquility of nature in the garden. "I came with my children today, the material of the greenway is relatively soft and comfortable to walk, plus the eyes are full of green, and you can see a sea of hydrangeas on the road, which feels very healing!" said Ms. Liu, a participant, with a smile, whose family lives near Linping Mountain, and every time she is in this green forest, she can always feel the joy and relaxation of body and mind.

The Greenway Walking Competition, which has been held for five consecutive years, has witnessed the high-quality construction and development of Hangzhou's greenway. Along the guidance of the "88 Strategy", Hangzhou has given full play to its ecological advantages, with a total mileage of 4,600 kilometers, 14 provincial-level and 51 municipal-level greenways, and has built a global green ecological network with the West Lake Scenic Area as the green core, the Qiantang River, canals, rivers and roads as the green veins, and the "mountains, water, cities, and fun". Not only that, Hangzhou has also promoted the coupling and linkage of greenway construction and urban and rural landscape improvement, and promoted the formation of "overall beauty, Zhejiang temperament, and Hangzhou image".
今年的绿道毅行月活动，不仅在玩法上增加了“单位团队赛”的比拼，更重要的是增加了51个城乡风貌样板区的打卡点，让品质绿道和最美风貌共同串起市民可赏可游的绿色生活空间。市民朋友们可在5月27日至8月27日，登录“绿道管家”微信小程序，按活动规则参与比赛。
“举办绿道毅行月活动旨在让老百姓用眼睛发现‘家门口’的幸福绿，用脚步丈量杭州最美风景，通过全民参与，提升老百姓对健康生活的认知，营造浓厚亚运氛围。”市绿道办（市建委）相关负责人表示，要继续谋划更加丰富的活动形式，让绿道真正成为共建共享的生态道、健康道、文化道、智慧道、致富道。
绿道建设没有休止符。今年，全市计划新建和改造绿道250公里，其中打造精品绿道50.5公里，目前临平山绿道二期旋转绿道、富春山居绿道等一大批高颜值、有亮点、多功能的绿道已相继投入使用。
