In April this year, the Yuhangtang River Greenway Renovation and Upgrading Project officially started. At present, the greenway upgrading work from the Ring Expressway to the South Gate of Zhejiang University has been basically completed, and the area east of the South Gate of Zhejiang University is also gradually unfolding. The Yuhangtang River Greenway is quietly becoming beautiful.
Like the Jiangcun subway station Square Park Road, which residents reflected, the green bricks were changed to granite. Similarly, the surface layer of the pavement on the east side of the Daughter Bridge was replaced with a smooth granite pavement, which solved the problem of inconvenience for residents.
Not only was the ground resurfaced with granite, but a steel corridor was installed for residents and visitors to rest.
In order to improve the running comfort of surrounding residents and tourists, the bridge section from the South Gate of Zhejiang University to Wuchanggang Road adopts MC water-based elastic surface layer, and takes measures such as new rainwater ditches and road surface lifting to avoid the problem of water accumulation in the original space under the greenway.
